Fun to watch this idiot flop around like a fish out its climate-fear-sustaining water. The economy is in the toilet (remember, a lot of these liberals wanted just that to stop 'global warming'). Then the AP tried to do these liberals a favor once the recession hit by saying that--surprise, surprise--the recession had LOWERED warming!

One good byproduct of this lie is something liberal socialist idiots will never understand: Americans will only care about the environment when they have secure incomes, homes, wealth, etc. A poorer America may help the myth of global warming, but it also, ironically and thankfully, will kill expansion in the belief of the global warming religion!

Fewer and fewer believe the crap anymore, especially because they're already paying higher energy prices that have been artificially inflated to promote alternative energy and the Green Fad. And Obama's criminal push of government-subsidized alternate green energy is a bust (duh) and did NOT save the economy (duh).

Not content with having invented the internet, the great Climate Science communicator Al Gore appears to have developed still more miraculous skills of late: the ability to turn 17,000 into 8.6 million – just like that.

The figures refer to the number of "views" for Gore's special "24 Hours Of ManBearPig" which this column helped celebrate the other day. Gore claims that as many as 8.6 million flocked to his thrilling festival of climate fear; but a nasty cruel man called Charles the Moderator at Watts Up With That? has "done the math" and reckons the figure is probably more like 17,000. Or a loving family man who has selflessly made it his mission to travel the world acquiring as large a carbon footprint as possible in order to spread the word that we should all drastically reduce our carbon footprints?

Talk About a 'Bone Head': Brand Deniers!

This liberal lunatic starts off his piece by wanting to physically brand climate change 'deniers' and 'skeptics' the way that Nazis tatooed Jews during the Holocaust, an event in which many liberals these days no longer believe--secretly--happened, partly because they're Palestinian sympathizers who clandestinely loath Zionists, who are, ironically, very liberal in their politics. But, I digress. Branding human beings is a form of discrimination, but these liberals only accept discrimination when it fits their purposes, and then they attempt to hide their discrimination in new terminologies and paradigms to confuse the easily confusable among us.

On the other hand, these morons have NOT had their orthodoxy shaken one iota, even after all the countless scandals, empirical evidence, and scientific evidence to the contrary. All they have left is fear...and they continue trying to use it against the clueless masses.

Greenhouse Gases Drop to 15-Yr Low

Remember when prominent liberals said that we needed to cool the U.S. economy to fight global warming?!? Even after all the empirical and actual evidence (not to mention scandals), the elitist kooks out there--propagandizing under a veil they call "science"--refuse to acknowledge that their little demonize-CO2 escapade has failed. No one--except for liberal elitists--is falling for the BS any longer.

This blog has covered numerous dire climate predictions in just three short years, ranging from 18 months (Prince Charles) to now 1000 years. Even if humans stop producing excess carbon dioxide in 2100, the lingering effects of global warming could span the next millennia. The results? By the year 3000, global warming would be more than a hot topic - the West Antarctic ice sheet could collapse, and global sea levels would rise by about 13 feet (4 meters), according to a new study.

Using a computer model, researchers looked at two scenarios - an end to humans' industrial carbon dioxide emissions by 2010 and by 2100 - stretched out to the year 3000.

Even if humans were to stop emitting excess carbon dioxide - or if they figured out a way to completely capture it - the effects of global warming would continue to accumulate. That's because previously emitted carbon dioxide lingers in the atmosphere and the oceans, unlike land, warm only gradually, according to one of the study researchers, Shawn Marshall, an associate professor of geography at the University of Calgary.

Climate Revisionism and the Church of Warming

When was the last time you ever thought you'd see liberal-leaning types defend a flawed theory much the way that conservative religious zealots defend their sometimes fanatical religious practices?

Global warming (including all of its many aliases--climate change, AGW, global climate disruption, etc.) has turned into a religion of the left. It has many of the hallmarks of a cult-like religion: the now discredited 'Bible of Warming'...the IPCC reports; the scandal-ridden professional prognosticators of the CRU, IPCC, and NASA (think Jimmy Swaggart, Jim Bakker, and many others ); the Climate Inquisition known as the "Consensus," which would love to destroy any professional scientist who dares to speak a contrary word; the coming 'Climate Armageddon,' featuring the end-times as a result of the world's love of capitalism; the 'Climate Anti-Christ,' which would be anyone of prominence coming out against global warming; the 'Climate Messiah,' which is none other than Al Gore (no disrespect intended to the real Christ of two millennia ago); a 'Climate Holy Spirit' in the form of the Green Fad that is currently ongoing (including forms of 'Climate Redemption' such as dumb global warming solutions); religious articles of faith and holy relics, such as ice cores, tree rings, and urban-island temperature measurements; predictions of things to come (simply moved forward in time when they don't come to pass...just like real religious zealots); the demand for unquestioning faith of its followers; and the false prophets and disbelievers...like me, for example. These are all elements of religion that global warming--as a political movement--now possesses.

Given that much of the 'evidence' and most 'predictions' have been exposed as bogus or just plain WRONG, you'd think it would shake the faith of climate alarmists. What occurs is that the believers REVISE predictions and expectations based on the exposed flaws of past predictions (think 'loss of snow and ice' and 'increased hurricanes'...which have been failed predictions). This is exactly what's done in religion today; this is what's done by those who love Nostradamus--make reality fit the template (i.e., make the square peg fit the round hole). Everything is REVISED to fit the template. I call it 'Climate Revisionism.' It's the reason that believers want to cast away the term 'global warming' for 'climate change' or 'global climate disruption.' That way, they can't be wrong. Any weather or climate phenomenon deemed 'unusual' can be used to fit the template, whether associated with winter (cold), summer (heat and cyclones), or somewhere in-between (thunderstorms and tornadoes).

This is a big problem for those who see human-caused global warming as an irreversible result of the Industrial Revolution's reliance on carbon-based fuels. Based on global warming theory — and according to official weather forecasts made earlier in the year — this winter should be warm and dry. It's anything but. Ice and snow cover vast parts of both Europe and North America, in one of the coldest Decembers in history.

A cautionary tale? You bet. Prognosticators who wrote the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, or IPCC, global warming report in 2007 predicted an inevitable, century-long rise in global temperatures of two degrees or more. Only higher temperatures were foreseen. Moderate or even lower temperatures, as we're experiencing now, weren't even listed as a possibility.

Since at least 1998, however, no significant warming trend has been noticeable. Unfortunately, none of the 24 models used by the IPCC views that as possible. They are at odds with reality.

EPA: CO2 Supplants Saccharin as Environmental Threat

Of course, the key to all these capitalist evils is to remove and/or regulate them as a "solution" to climate change (which doesn't even f'ing exist). Let's be honest...the real solution they're peddling is socialism, plain and simple.

This isn't smart. In a country that's among the world's highest greenhouse-gas emitters, air conditioning is one of the worst power-guzzlers. The energy required to air-condition American homes and retail spaces has doubled since the early 1990s. Turning buildings into refrigerators burns fossil fuels, which emits greenhouse gases, which raises global temperatures, which creates a need for -- you guessed it -- more air-conditioning.

A.C.'s obvious public-health benefits during severe heat waves do not justify its lavish use in everyday life for months on end. Less than half a century ago, America thrived with only the spottiest use of air conditioning. It could again. While central air will always be needed in facilities such as hospitals, archives and cooling centers for those who are vulnerable to heat, what would an otherwise A.C.-free Washington look like?

The first Republican Senator in decades is elected to Ted Kennedy's old seat, which Democrats had taken for granted as their own. Obama overreached and was rebuked by liberal Massachusetts (it will be much worse in more conservative areas of the country), and now reality will set in, because the number one goal of these morons in Congress--regardless of their party or political affiliation--is to keep their jobs.

WASHINGTON -- Top White House science officials defended the validity of global warming research against repeated Republican attacks Wednesday that cited leaked e-mails from some climate researchers.

The e-mails from a British university's climate center, were obtained by computer hackers and released last month. Climate change skeptics contend the messages reveal that researchers manipulated and suppressed data and stifled dissent.

In the first Capitol Hill airing of the issue, House Republicans read excerpts from at least eight of the e-mails, saying they showed the world needs to re-examine experts' claims that the science is settled. One e-mail from 2003 was by John Holdren, then of Harvard University and now the president's science adviser.

A week after my colleague James Delingpole, on his Telegraph blog, coined the term "Climategate" to describe the scandal revealed by the leaked emails from the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit, Google was showing that the word now appears across the internet more than nine million times. But in all these acres of electronic coverage, one hugely relevant point about these thousands of documents has largely been missed. The reason why even the Guardian's George Monbiot has expressed total shock and dismay at the picture revealed by the documents is that their authors are not just any old bunch of academics. Their importance cannot be overestimated, What we are looking at here is the small group of scientists who have for years been more influential in driving the worldwide alarm over global warming than any others, not least through the role they play at the heart of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
