How do the Marxists get you to accept job losses and tough economic burdens due to their phony climate change laws and requirements? They break the news to you early, of course. Here we have lefty psychos out in CA letting everyone know ahead of time that there will be jobs lost due to energy cost increases, and these increases will be driven by “aggressive” climate change laws. And all one needs to do is actually look at all the climate scandals and, maybe...just maybe, consider the voice of a skeptical scientist to realize that we’re all being taken for suckers. If we let these assholes get away with it then WE ARE SUCKERS.

The budget watchdog was responding to a request by Republican state Senator Dave Cogdill to study the effects of California's 2006 climate change law, which mandates changes to cut greenhouse gas emissions to 1990 levels by 2020.

California's environmental vanguard approach is being hotly debated in the state ahead of a November gubernatorial race and in the midst of an economic downturn that has pushed unemployment to recent records. Many other states and the federal government are watching closely.

God DID NOT kill people in Haiti as punishment for voodoo. Global warming (or any conference associated with it) DID NOT cause the earthquake in Haiti.

Copen-faken Kills Alliance and Carbon Trading

Copen-faken. It was supposed to be the culminating moment for Obama to begin his world rule. As it turns out, there's not much to the 'unprecedented agreement.' What happened? Climategate. Al Gore caught in a lie. Prince Charles opened his stupid trap again. Hypocrisy. Communist tirades and protests. Infighting. Bickering. And cold weather. LOL! So much for that bullshit. Cracks emerged on Tuesday in the alliance on climate change formed at the Copenhagen conference last week, with leading developing countries criticising the resulting accord.

The so-called BASIC countries – Brazil, South Africa, India and China – backed the accord in a meeting with the US on Friday night, and it was also supported by nearly all other nations at the talks, including all of the biggest emitters.

Carbon prices plunged yesterday in the aftermath of the Copenhagen conference on climate change, dealing a blow to the credibility of the European Union's carbon-trading scheme.

Prices for carbon permits for December 2010 delivery, the benchmark contract for pricing European permits, dropped nearly 10 per cent in early trading, before recovering to end the day 8.3 per cent lower at €12.41.

Lower prices give companies less incentive to invest in cutting their greenhouse gas output. Analysts estimate that prices of more than €40 a tonne are required to stimulate investment in new low-carbon technologies.

I've said it many times before. This global warming bullshit is simply another angle of attack for the socialists, Marxists, and communists to challenge capitalism. But then he wound up to his grand conclusion – 20 minutes after his 5 minute speaking time was supposed to have ended and after quoting everyone from Karl Marx to Jesus Christ - “our revolution seeks to help all people…socialism, the other ghost that is probably wandering around this room, that’s the way to save the planet, capitalism is the road to hell....let’s fight against capitalism and make it obey us.” He won a standing ovation.

Gore: 'Sustainable Capitalism'

I've written many times about the global warming cult's assault on capitalism, because oil is the lifeblood of capitalism. Without it, no goods will be made; no goods will get to market; no goods will be good. Don't believe these Marxists who try to hide their intentions in weasel words like "sustainable."

Al Gore's sham has been thoroughly exposed, yet he's not giving up on it. He believes in a form of capitalism--elitist capitalism, where elites like him remain and grow more wealthy while keeping the rest of you surfs dependent on the government teat.

The global financial crisis had its origins in short-term, unsustainable strategies and actions. Before the crisis and since, we (and others) have called for a more long-term and responsible form of capitalism – what we call “sustainable capitalism”. Yet despite our collective best efforts, one year on, the capital markets seem to be reverting to business as usual.

Global warming stupidity backfiring

...or maybe it isn't, if one's goal is to cause and sustain an economic recession. After all, Bill Clinton said the economy needed to be slowed to fight global warming . So, here we go! We're already seeing the results of what will happen to capitalism as this stupid cult movement becomes entrenched in the psyches of sheep worldwide, and those sheep hand over power to the "government" to save them from doom. When we let the liberals run our lives for us and "save us from doom," we're frickin' doomed. Get ready to enjoy a proletarian lifestyle!

Tax means fewer travellers at main Dutch airport: report:

Some 50,000 fewer passengers are expected to use Amsterdam Schiphol airport, one of Europe's busiest, this summer on account of a Dutch environmental tax on flights, it was reported Saturday.

"We're expected zero growth in 2008, and in fact a decrease (in passenger numbers) in July and August," an airport spokesman was quoted as saying by the domestic ANP news agency.

The Netherlands is the only country that levies an environmental tax on flights departing the country -- 11.25 euros per passenger (17.75 dollars) for European destinations and 45 euros for intercontential points.

With higher fuel prices pushing up air fares worldwide, travel industry experts say the tax will hurt business at Schiphol and see many Dutch travellers go to nearby German airports instead.

Czech President Klaus wants AGW debate with Gore

First, it's important to note the source of this story--earthtimes.org. Their web site says:

As such www.Earthtimes.org is a leading website that publishes news reports and the latest information relating to the human environment...

To me, this means Earth Times is part of the global warming propaganda machine. You can see it in their article below, when they put climate alarmism in quotes, but list the words "global warming" without the quotes in their rather sycophantic paragraph on Gore's "accomplishments." They state Gore's global warming resume as if it's unequivocal that his awards were legit. That's what propagandists do--they shut down debate by dismissing detractors as idiots. I contend that Gore won an Oscar and Nobel Prize for NOTHING! Both awards were just cheapened even more--so congrats liberal ding-dongs!

First, I would just tell President Klaus BRAVO! He makes some terrific points below. Second, good luck getting Al Gore to debate anything. He's an incompetent nitnoid politician--not a scientist.

Washington - Czech President Vaclav Klaus said Tuesday he is ready to debate Al Gore about global warming, as he presented the English version of his latest book that argues environmentalism poses a threat to basic human freedoms. "I many times tried to talk to have a public exchange of views with him, and he's not too much willing to make such a conversation," Klaus said. "So I'm ready to do it."

Gore a former US vice president who has become a leading international voice in the cause against global warming, was co-winner of this year's Nobel Peace Prize. Gore's effort was highlighted by his Oscar winning documentary film An Inconvienent Truth.

Klaus, an economist, said he opposed the "climate alarmism" perpetuated by environmentalism trying to impose their ideals, comparing it to the decades of communist rule he experienced growing up in Soviet-dominated Czechoslovakia.

"Like their (communist) predecessors, they will be certain that they have the right to sacrifice man and his freedom to make their idea reality," he said.

"In the past, it was in the name of the Marxists or of the proletariat - this time, in the name of the planet," he added.

"It could be even true that we are now at a stage where mere facts, reason and truths are powerless in the face of the global warming propaganda," he said.

Klaus alleged that the global warming was being championed by scientists and other environmentalists whose careers and funding requires selling the public on global warming.

"It is in the hands of climatologists and other related scientists who are highly motivated to look in one direction only," Klaus said.
