Fun to watch this idiot flop around like a fish out its climate-fear-sustaining water. The economy is in the toilet (remember, a lot of these liberals wanted just that to stop 'global warming'). Then the AP tried to do these liberals a favor once the recession hit by saying that--surprise, surprise--the recession had LOWERED warming!

One good byproduct of this lie is something liberal socialist idiots will never understand: Americans will only care about the environment when they have secure incomes, homes, wealth, etc. A poorer America may help the myth of global warming, but it also, ironically and thankfully, will kill expansion in the belief of the global warming religion!

The figures refer to the number of "views" for Gore's special "24 Hours Of ManBearPig" which this column helped celebrate the other day. Gore claims that as many as 8.6 million flocked to his thrilling festival of climate fear; but a nasty cruel man called Charles the Moderator at Watts Up With That? has "done the math" and reckons the figure is probably more like 17,000. Thulsa Doom Obama Halts Own Smog Rules

Looks like Obama wants to get re-elected now, plain and simple. I don't think that's happening, however. You've done far too much damage to the country with your liberal, elitist, Marx-loving social experimentation. That ivory tower academic shit doesn't work in real life.

Since Rick Perry announced that he's running for President today to save us all from the socialist known as Thulsa Doom Obama, we can all delight that he may finally kill this ridiculous stupidity called climate change, which is being used as a vehicle to create--yet even more--expensive government solutions.

Perry calls global warming "all one contrived phony mess that is falling apart under its own weight." Unlike many of the other GOP presidential candidates, he hasn't expressed concern about climate change in the past, so he won't have to do any back-pedaling. Notorious climate denier Marc Morano is a big fan: "Based on climate views alone, anyone who is holding their nose voting for Mitt Romney because there's no other viable candidate will now rejoice to have an option with Rick Perry."

Patronage Alive-and-Well with EPA Rules

Thulsa Doom Obama--in true Chicago-thug fashion--is sidestepping Congress and using the EPA to institute global warming governance, which will harm the economy even more than it's already harmed. Just as Obama has issued many 'exemptions' for Obamacare to select unions and other supportive entities, he's going to do the same with the EPA rules that will harm other businesses. It's strong-arm politics designed to get the one with the strong arm what he wants. In this case, the Chicago thug is obvious.

Maybe GE CEO Jeff Immelt's closeness to President Obama, and his broad support for Obama's agenda, had nothing to do with this exemption. But we have no way of knowing that, and given the administration's record of regularly misleading Americans regarding lobbyists, frankly, I wouldn't trust the White House if they told me there was no connection.

Of course, the key to all these capitalist evils is to remove and/or regulate them as a "solution" to climate change (which doesn't even f'ing exist). Let's be honest...the real solution they're peddling is socialism, plain and simple.

This isn't smart. In a country that's among the world's highest greenhouse-gas emitters, air conditioning is one of the worst power-guzzlers. The energy required to air-condition American homes and retail spaces has doubled since the early 1990s. Turning buildings into refrigerators burns fossil fuels, which emits greenhouse gases, which raises global temperatures, which creates a need for -- you guessed it -- more air-conditioning.

A.C.'s obvious public-health benefits during severe heat waves do not justify its lavish use in everyday life for months on end. Less than half a century ago, America thrived with only the spottiest use of air conditioning. It could again. While central air will always be needed in facilities such as hospitals, archives and cooling centers for those who are vulnerable to heat, what would an otherwise A.C.-free Washington look like?

Of course, this poll only addresses the question about global warming overall. In other words, the poll answers the question about whether global warming is believed to be occurring. It’s a good question. Natural climate change seems to be pushing temperatures the other way, unless you believe the alarmists’ silly, revisionist excuses for why we’ve had several years of record-setting cold winters and summers.

I wonder, after proper education on all sides of scientific climate theory—including the skeptical views on CO2 and scientific data backing those views, whether the public would accept the core premise of global warming alarmists, which is really the only central issue in my opinion. That question is, “Do you think manmade CO2 is warming the Earth?”

Because global warming and global cooling, as part of natural climate variability, DO HAPPEN. That’s not at issue. In Virginia, the weather also has changed dramatically. This SHOULD make the world wake up and take notice. Science is not the be-all-end-all of modern life. Science itself is benign--a wonderful thing. But people who do science bring their own buried biases, ideologies, and beliefs, which, left without the supervision of ethical restraint, affords the opportunity for science to run amok and become something that wasn't intended. Scientists sometimes like to portray what they do as divorced from the everyday jealousies, rivalries and tribalism of human relationships. What makes science special is that data and results that can be replicated are what matters and the scientific truth will out in the end.

But a close reading of the emails hacked from the University of East Anglia in November exposes the real process of everyday science in lurid detail.

Many of the emails reveal strenuous efforts by the mainstream climate scientists to do what outside observers would regard as censoring their critics.
