Record-setting Blizzard in D.C. Cancels AGW Hearing

More poetic justice and irony. Baltimore breaks the snow record set in 1995. Winter weather records are broken in Chicago, D.C., and Philadelphia. Empirical evidence to stick in your global warming pipe and smoke.

Apparently, in an attempt to head-off the constant, recent chipping away at the global warming religion, the leftwing NYT will publish a story tomorrow that blames all these record winter blizzards on GLOBAL WARMING! That's right! When it's warm or there's NO SNOW outside, that's warming caused by heat-trapping, man-emitted greenhouse gases. And when there's a record-setting blizzard, that's warming caused by heat-trapping, man-emitted greenhouse gases. Nice scam, huh? When it's hot, it's warming. And when it's cold, it's warming. This way, the alarmist psychos never lose, LOL!

If we're really honest (and most of us who aren't 12 years old can remember the 1970s or much further back), these record weather events--blizzards, tornado outbreaks, hurricanes, and heat waves--have always happened. If we grab Almanacs and stare back even further, we see that THEY'VE ALWAYS HAPPENED. But those facts won't stop the Kool-aid drinkers. Just as the recent climatology scandals won't stop them.

The following Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works hearings have been postponed due to inclement weather this week:

- The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works will hold a hearing entitled, "Global Warming Impacts, Including Public Health, in the United States."

GASP!: Warming Will Cause Next Ice Age

LOL! Yes, you read that correctly.

Notice the groundwork being laid here? That's right. This scientist says that global warming will cause the next ice age. This is an old tactic from the hoaxers--blame cooling on warming. LOL! See...we can't win for losing. Global warming CAUSES EVERYTHING when you're a Kool-Aid drinking lunatic. This is simply more revisionism...trying to find ways to keep global warming research alive in a world that has seen what a hoax it is.

Read more horrible things in the GASP! series and get yourself a good chuckle.

Starting roughly 12,800 years ago, the Northern Hemisphere was gripped by a chill that lasted some 1,300 years. Known by scientists as the Younger Dryas and nicknamed the "Big Freeze," geological evidence suggests it was brought on when a vast pulse of fresh water — a greater volume than all of North America's Great Lakes combined — poured into the Atlantic and Arctic Oceans.

This abrupt influx, caused when the glacial Lake Agassiz in North America burst its banks, diluted the circulation of warmer water in the North Atlantic, bringing this "conveyer belt" to a halt. Without this warming influence, evidence shows that temperatures across the Northern Hemisphere plummeted.

Voters mostly say NO to environmental ballot measures

Will the alarmist psychos awaken from their stupor finally? Probably not. When you’re a Kool-aid drinking fanatic, it’s fairly tough to change your ways, regardless of how much evidence stacks up against you and your silly theory.

Let’s hope our new President-Elect will not follow-through on his promises to bankrupt the coal industry; he certainly would harm a lot of families if he did that, wouldn’t he? All to stop a non-existent problem with the element Carbon.

Not So Green: Voters Nix Most Environmental State Ballot Measures:

Voters didn’t just decide on the president or Congress yesterday. Among five major energy and environmental ballot initiatives from California to Missouri, all but one were voted down. Does that mean that apparent public support for clean energy withers away when the rubber meets the road?

Not necessarily. But it does suggest that any government plans to boost clean energy have to be sharply focused, realistic, and present a clear win for voters, who are also consumers. Grist has a great rundown on state-level initiatives, here.

WWF’s Hypocritical Wildlife Tour

No one can say it quite the way Steven Milloy of junkscience.com does; please follow the link and read the entire article for yourself and glean his wisdom. I’ve covered the hypocrisy of green alarmists and carbon prophets (ahem...profits) many times on this blog. If the climate Kool-aid drinkers out there would critically examine the green hypocrisy out there, look at the over-hyped, over-done fearmongering, and really scrutinize the scientific and empirical evidence, they would conclude (as I and others have) that this is the biggest scam ever to be scammed on anyone.

Five-Star Green Hypocrisy:

Move over Al Gore. Swankier carbon charlatanism has come to town in the form of the World Wildlife Fund’s luxury getaway called "Around the World: A Private Jet Expedition." "Join us on a remarkable 25-day journey by luxury private jet," invites the WWF in a brochure for its voyage to "some of the most astonishing places on the planet to see top wildlife, including gorillas, orangutans, rhinos, lemurs and toucans." For a price tag that starts at $64,950 per person, travelers will meet at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Fla. on April 6, 2009 and then fly to “remote corners” of the world on a “specially outfitted jet that carries just 88 passengers in business-class comfort.”
***
This is the very same WWF that says “the current growth in [carbon dioxide] emissions must be stopped as soon as possible” and that blames Americans for emitting 21 percent of global CO2 emissions even though the U.S. accounts for only 5 percent of the global population. In December 2007, the WWF launched its “Earth Hour” campaign, a global initiative in which cities and communities simultaneously turn out their lights for one hour “to symbolize their leadership and commitment to finding solutions for climate change.”
***
According to the WWF’s calculator, it would cost in excess of $44,000 to offset the carbon emissions from the jet travel alone. Then there’s the September 2008 report from the General Accounting Office which concluded that the carbon offset market lacked credibility.

Earliest snow on record for Idaho!

Oh yeah, it sure is "global warming" around here. Remember, this just means it's 'warming.' Or you can just take the revisionist's point of view and claim that AGW is taking a vacation for a while. Whatever you need to keep telling yourself to keep the lie aloft, Kool-aid drinker.

Boise gets earliest snow on record | Local News | Idaho Statesman:

Big snow flakes fell early Friday evening, turning Downtown Boise into a giant snow globe for people on their way home from work. The snow caught many people off guard, including this bicyclist heading down Idaho Street between 8th and 9th around 5:45 p.m. Across the Treasure Valley, tree branches heavy with wet, snow-covered leaves fell on power lines, causing scattered power outages. This is the earliest measurable snowfall in Boise since recordkeeping began in 1898, according to the National Weather Service.

AGW harder on minorities??!!

Yes, you read that right. Try not to swallow your tongue or choke on your own spit.

Okay, if this doesn't bring it home that this global warming BS is just a political ploy then you are definitely a leftist Kool-Aid drinking psycho.

I got news for you...the "solutions" proposed for global warming are what are and will harm minorities, not nonexistent global warming itself.

Global warming more harmful to low-income minorities:

WASHINGTON – Blacks are more likely to be hurt by global warming than other Americans, according to a report issued Thursday.

The report was authored by the Environmental Justice and Climate Change Initiative, a climate justice advocacy group, and Redefining Progress, a nonprofit policy institute. It detailed various aspects of climate change, such as air pollution and rising temperatures, which it said disproportionately affect blacks, minorities and low-income communities in terms of poor health and economic loss.

“Right now we have an opportunity to see climate change in a different light; to see it for what it is, a human rights issue on a dangerous collision course of race and class,” said Nia Robinson, director of the Environmental Justice and Climate Change Initiative. “While it’s an issue that affects all of us, like many other social justice issues, it is disproportionately affecting African-Americans, other people of color, low-income people and indigenous communities.”

Record-breaking COLD temperature in July!

Kool AidRemember when that truth vector--our beloved media--published an article last year stating that 2008 would be among the hottest and that global warming was rushing spring? So far this year, that hasn't happened, which has led to climate revisionism by the "really smart people" who originally told us we were doomed to another hot year caused by our love of capitalism. Yeah, it's cooling...oops! But it's only because global warming is being masked by La Nina for ten years. Crap! Another failed climate prediction. Their little fart of arrogance is wafting up into the atmosphere and warming the Earth!

LOL! The 2nd of July, 2008: Charlotte, NC BREAKS A 100-YEAR-OLD RECORD COLD TEMPERATURE in the midst of summer. Are you fruitcake, Kool-Aid drinking warmaholics receiving that message? No, it was not caused by “climate change,” as I’m sure your media programming will lead you to say (see here where fruitcakes actually implied that cold is caused by warming). Weather anomalies happen (that’s why we have almanacs), and you alarmists use empirical data all the time to support a theory that says the climate is warming unnaturally.

Well, here’s some of the vast empirical evidence (that you regularly ignore) that says the climate is not warming; we won’t even go into the actual, raw, scientific data that says global warming HAS NOT AND IS NOT HAPPENING.

Charlotte temperature hits 123-year low | Charlotte Observer:

This morning was downright cool in the Charlotte region -- cool enough to break a record that had stood for more than a century.

The temperature at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport was 56 at about 5:30 a.m., breaking the July 2 record of 58, set in 1885. The normal low for this time of year is 70.

It'll warm up quickly today, though. Temperatures today are expected to peak at 90 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. But it'll still feel pleasant because of humidity levels between 20 and 25 percent, said NWS meteorologist Doug Outlaw.

Conditions will be cool again overnight, with the low descending to 59, one degree warmer than the record for July 3, set in 1932. And the Fourth of July is expected to be warm and dry, with a high of 92 and "a very, very minimal chance" of rain, Outlaw said.

Does Krauthammer read Global Shamming?

KrauthammerKrauthammer must be reading this blog, because I've been saying these same things since my first post of January 5th. As a matter of fact, you can see all my posts on the subject of class systems and AGW by simply searching my blog with the words "capitalism" or "socialism." My post on the U.K. carbon ration cards can be read here, and just like Krauthammer...I draw the same conclusions about the battle of the classes.

I often find myself agreeing with Krauthammer, but I agree with Milloy of junkscience.com here in one sense; the term "denier" shouldn't be used seriously about oneself by someone--even in the negative sense--who questions the motives of climate alarmists. I mockingly call myself a denier all the time, just to stick it in the face of the stupid Kook-Aid drinkers.

FOXNews.com - Junk Science: Time to Retire 'Denier' - Opinion:

In Charles Krauthammer's May 30 must-read column, "Carbon Chastity," he rightly lambastes environmentalists as resurrected communists/socialists who have latched on to the environment and climate change as a means to advance their anti-people social agenda.

The specific occasion for his justifiable outrage is a recent proposal by a British parliamentary committee to institute a personal carbon ration card for every citizen.

Record-setting winter weather on Earth Day

LOL! Yep...so much for global warming, which as I’ve been trying to explain, is about as real as Santa Claus. At least the idea of Santa has some actual value. And this from Canada; remember this Canadian doom piece from the other day? Of course, others from Canada worry about global cooling.

Is it me or does it seem like every time these nutjobs try to hold a media protest event, an antithetical weather anomaly comes in to ruin it?

edmontonsun.com -Edmonton News-No heaven on Earth Day:

Wintry blast cools global warming fervour

So much for global warming. Earth Day festivities went ahead despite the blast of frigid weather yesterday.

Vendors and presenters from various eco-friendly groups, including Bullfrog Power, CO2 Reduction Edmonton and the local solar energy society, crammed into a lone tent in Hawrelak Park after a blizzard forced them to abandon their original locations.

Winter weather sets several records:
All that April snow this weekend was more than surprising -- it was also record-setting.

The flakes that fell across the Vancouver region Friday night and Saturday represent the latest snowfall ever on record.

At its peak, the storm dumped 2.5 cm of snow at the Vancouver International Airport, with 8 cm at Lynn Valley and 30 cm at Mount Seymour. Vancouver Island recorded 6.4 cm of snow at Victoria International Airport by 11 a.m. Saturday -- more than any on an April day since 1940. But the big record dump came in Nanaimo, where the city hadn't seen measurable snow on April 19 since 1947. As of 11 a.m., 24 cm covered the ground at the airport.

Recent notable climate-related headlines

Still don't think global warming is about money and taxes?

On Carbon, Tax and Don’t Spend - New York Times:

The idea is that polluters should pay for the environmental damage they cause. Slap a tax on carbon, the theory goes, and you will get fewer carbon emissions, more revenue for government and energy independence, all at the same time. No wonder people from both sides of the political divide have come out in support of it.
18 states sue EPA over greenhouse gas pollution Gasp! China is 1/2 inch down from the rainfall norm this spring? Surely this drought disaster is being caused by AGW. I thought all the record snow they received in China this past winter would more than make up for any drought problems??!!

Drought hits northern China | Environment | Reuters:

Normally, there is 12.7 mm (0.5 inch) of precipitation by now, the Xinhua news agency quoted Jiao Meiyan, of the China Meteorological Administration, as saying.
The kool-aid drinking fruitcakes flourish in these times of "climate troubles."

Eight protesters arrested at coal plant | Environment | Reuters:

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Eight protesters who locked themselves to bulldozers at a Duke Energy Corp coal-fired power plant in North Carolina as part of a day of international actions on climate change were arrested on Tuesday, police said.
So, let me get this straight. We had Canadian scientists recently worried about global cooling, and we had the highest ice in 15 years between Greenland and Canada. Why, just last month we had an article that tried to dismiss the newly reformed ice in the Arctic. Enough of all that...let's get back to the WORRY paradigm that works for climate alarmism.

Canadian researchers warn of new Arctic worries:

Melting ocean ice is apparently allowing larger storm surges to flood into the delta in Canada's far north, a change that could have an impact on energy development plans for the region, said Lance Lesack, who has been tracking environmental changes in the region for more than a decade.

Recent, great coverage of scam

Why reinvent the wheel? Newsbusters does a great job of covering much of the global warming nonsense going on in the media, so I turn this post over to them (also because I haven't had a lot of time to vent lately):

BBC Changes 'Temperatures Decrease' Article to Incite Climate Hysteria | NewsBusters.org:

In fact, what was once a realistic portrayal of new data released by the World Meteorological Organization suddenly became another hysterical report espousing doom and gloom at the hands of manmade global warming.
Global Warming Activist Pressures BBC to Significantly Alter Article | NewsBusters.org:
NewsBusters has just learned that a British "climate activist" was responsible for getting the BBC to radically alter its "Global Temperatures 'To Decrease'" article last Friday.
Australian Paper: No Criticism of Earth Hour Allowed | NewsBusters.org:
It continues. Days after NewsBusters reported that the BBC willingly censored its reporting to fit the agenda of a left-wing environmental activist comes news that reporters at an Australian paper have been forced company-wide to promote climate alarmism by their bosses.
Gore Bars Press From Speech In San Francisco | NewsBusters.org:
After all, it's not like anyone is going to ask him a tough question, or write something that might expose him as the charlatan most folks not drinking the Kool -- er, I mean Global Warming-Aid understand him to be.

However, that's exactly what happened Friday afternoon when the Global Warmingest-in-Chief spoke at the RSA Conference with specific instructions for no press members to be allowed through the doors of the Moscone Convention Center.

Governments work to save us sheep from doom

And yet, CO2 emissions continue to rise while the mean global temperature has fallen!

Britain's 2007 emissions fall, on track for Kyoto | Environment | Reuters
:

LONDON (Reuters) - British greenhouse gas emissions fell nearly two percent in 2007, keeping the country on track to meet its targets under the Kyoto Protocol, the government's environmental agency said on Thursday.
U.N. human rights body turns to climate change | Environment | Reuters:
GENEVA (Reuters) - Climate change could erode the human rights of people living in small island states, coastal areas and parts of the world subjected to drought and floods, the U.N. Human Rights Council said on Friday.
Climate negotiators start work on Kyoto II | Environment | Reuters:
BANGKOK (Reuters) - Scientists and officials from across the world meet in Thailand this week for the first formal talks in the long process of drawing up a replacement for the Kyoto climate change pact by the end of 2009.

Around 190 nations agreed in Bali last year to start the two-year negotiations to replace Kyoto, which only binds 37 rich nations to cut emissions of greenhouse gases by an average of five percent from 1990 levels by 2012.

Here's a reason why our "actions" to save us will fail; we will have to disavow capitalism to make all the psychos happy. It's the only way.

California cuts future quotas for clean-air cars | Environment | Reuters
:
Advocates of clean car technologies called the move a step backward for California's push to cut car pollution, and accused the board of kowtowing to automakers.
Government officials to discuss CO2 content of alt fuels | Environment | Reuters:
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Officials from across the U.S. government will meet this week to interpret an obscure item tucked into 2007 energy legislation that bars big federal fuel buyers from using fuel derived from coal if it contains more carbon than products made from crude oil.
Wait, I thought dark colors absorbed light, which theoretically would warm up the earth more? Chlorophyll has a dark green color, so losing trees should theoretically cool the earth. Oh that's right...alarmists claim the sun has nothing to do with global warming. They're obviously taking the position that losing the trees raises CO2 levels...except that CO2 has NOTHING TO DO WITH WARMING! It comes AFTER WARMING...NOT BEFORE.
Asia must reverse deforestation: U.N. | Environment | Reuters:
NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Parts of Asia are losing more than 28,000 square kilometers (10,800 square miles) of forest every year, a trend that must to be reversed immediately to fight climate change, a United Nations report said on Thursday.
As I already mentioned, even if we BELIEVE (as in have ‘blind faith’ in the ‘consensus’ as we’ve been instructed to do by the media), there’s no workable solution to reverse the nonexistent warming that they’ve imagined. Kyoto won’t work—far too expensive for the estimated net CO2 reductions. Mercury-tainted light bulbs won’t work; they poison the planet worse than the perceived “pollution” of greenhouse gases (please note that we would all be frozen popsicles without greenhouse gases in our atmosphere to hold in the sun’s heat). Some climate alarmists even believe that we’ll all be dead in a few decades, regardless of what we do to fix the problem.

Regardless of whether biofuels increase or reduce greenhouse gases, here’s one certain thing that we can already see—they’re driving up the price of corn, which is a staple food for the poorest people in the world. We also use corn to feed livestock, which is another food staple—providing beef, cheese, and milk. Food is already under several price pressures; surely we shouldn’t help prices creep up further, due to our religious-like zealotry with this climate change baloney.

So you fruitcakes are just hurting the people that you always claim to champion. This time, you’re hurting them under the guise of saving the planet; the only problem is that the planet doesn’t need your help, you arrogant bunch of know-it-all kool-aid drinkers!

Top scientists warn against rush to biofuel | Environment | The Guardian:
Gordon Brown is preparing for a battle with the European Union over biofuels after one of the government's leading scientists warned they could exacerbate climate change rather than combat it.
In an outspoken attack on a policy which comes into force next week, Professor Bob Watson, the chief scientific adviser at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, said it would be wrong to introduce compulsory quotas for the use of biofuels in petrol and diesel before their effects had been properly assessed.

Artist prefers 'human-free' world

Kool Aid
When the nutjob artists start basing their portfolios around perceived AGW-caused disasters, it's time to drink some kool-aid. The last sentence in this reply shows clearly that Sasha is a kool-aid drinker.

Kimberly Brooks: The Art of Global Warming: Photographer Sasha Bezzubov - Living on The Huffington Post:

KB: Has this series made you more of an "environmentalist", per se?

SB: That's a really good question. On the one hand I share with environmentalists the conviction that we need to act now in order to slow the pace of stress that we're putting out climate and environment in general through. I think that if we need to make economic sacrifices to slow climate change and other deleterious effects of our industry, and this is debatable, they are preferable to the possibility of living out our days in a hostile world of warming climate, increasing natural disasters and diminishing resources. And in my little ways I'm trying to live that ideal. On the other hand if we all stopped reproducing tomorrow, in a hundred years Earth would be human-free, which may be the most environment friendly act.

The Day the Earth...Burned Up

Earthstoodstill
Keanu Reeves prepares to slurp the kool-aid with thirsty abandon. Thanks to Noel.

Klaatu To Warn Us About.... Global Warming? - Screen Rant:

I don't know how familiar you are with the original (and classic) version of The Day the Earth Stood Still, but it was borne out of fears of the Atomic Age and the initial stirrings of the Cold War. Today it may seem quaint and dated but at the time it was a very relevant theme to be tackled from a sci-fi angle.

Over at MTV.com they've quoted Keanu Reeves in an interview and while he admits that yes, there is a huge threat posed by the staggering number of international conflicts...

"The version [of 'The Day the Earth Stood Still'] I was just working on, instead of being man against man, it’s more about man against nature. My Klaatu says that if the Earth dies, you die. If you die, the earth survives. I’m a friend to the earth."

Ok, all together now: Awwwwwwwwwww.....

What's the point?

First, straight up: I'm a skeptic of manmade "global warming" or "climate change." I'm a denier, if you will. Go ahead and slap a swastika on my forehead and brand me with names, if it makes you feel better, believers and alarmists! We "deniers" have names for you too. Advocate warmaholics are like Jonestown cultist lunatics, from my perspective, except that the Rev. Jim Jones has been replaced by Al Gore. His followers have disavowed debate based on his very command, and they've lost all sense of scientific reasoning; they only see the science and empirical evidence that supports their position, while they ignore any science and empiricism that makes it clear--global warming is global garbage, and the media is complicit in the sham.

I've been collecting an ever-increasing quantity of articles on the subjects of global warming and the now en-vogue "climate change" for well over a year now, and the number of articles and stories has grown exponentially and the tone more and more desperate, as we enter the tenth year since the so-called "warmest year on record." (1998) Originally, I was collecting these tidbits with the idea of writing a book, but that's really already been done by others who are probably better at it than I am. So, I figured I would start a blog to take out my frustrations over this utterly stupid fearmongering.

You warmaholics go ahead and drink the kool-aid; this blog will serve as a testament both now and in the future to define what can happen to people who refuse to waste good glucose to feed their own brains, and therefore, reason. When all the hoopla ends (just as it did with Y2K, SARs, and other media-hyped portents of doom), this blog will be here to remind you that you were sheep and turned your thinking over to someone else.

Why am I hoarding global warming articles from Reuters, AP, and other news outlets as if they were gold rush nuggets? My first idea was to be able to remind the world at a later date what the media and politician's once said, once it was shown that anthropogenic global warming (AGW) IS NOT HAPPENING; for some reason, the public tends to quickly forget what was once proclaimed as gospel, and the media and politicians capitalize on this laziness. Examples include the media articles of the early 70s that proclaimed the coming new ice age; in less than thirty years, the media forgot what they once said and were now expounding the opposite in terms of climate. They certainly were embarrassed to be reminded of their stupidity, so they reacted by either not discussing their past mistake or simply quibbling over the details.

I want people to remember that these "trusted leaders" and "purveyors of truth" once told us we were headed for doomsday. Maybe people will learn that the media really does take up positions--they don't just tell us the facts, as they often claim, and I hope people already know that politicians are out for power, no matter the political affiliation; the more we depend on government to solve our problems, the more powerful it becomes. And remember, we're supposed to be "the government." (Government of the people, by the people, for the people...remember?)

The point is to point out how the media and certain political groups have chosen to hype this issue, even with the oft-ignored, growing evidence to the contrary (from scientists...and scientists who ARE NOT ALL AFFILIATED WITH "BIG OIL," as Al Gore would lead you to believe). All serious scientists in the world collectively groan when they hear the "inventor of the Internet" extoll pseudo-science that is so flawed that it's laughable. His movie is inconveniently wrong; his Nobel Prize win is laughable and proves that the award no longer means what it once did. His Oscar? Who cares? A bunch of liberal elites giving a meaningless award to another liberal elite is meaningless.

Let me just say now that, as a molecular biologist, I don't believe in man-made climate change, as it is currently proselytized in the media. I believe the climate changes naturally--it has and always will. The media has taken a pseudo-scientific, politically-connected "consensus" (science has never been about consensus) and has attempted to turn us all into zombie-sheep who desperately need some entity to step in and save us from ourselves.

Though there are claims to the contrary about political motives (from people like the Weather Channel's Heidi Cullen), make no mistake--this is a political issue. The volume of weekly news articles, television programs, and movies, fed to us with an increasingly desperate tone, make it clear: the media has so bought into this that they cannot back out now--if they repeat it enough, it will become mythological truth to the faithful, even if shown to be wrong by an ignored body of climatologists. That's already happening, but most media sources are obviously not convinced by the contrary scientific positions, thus they've so far chosen to ignore the evidence that doesn't fit their agenda. That's real denial!

What's required to "fix the problem" has already been proposed in a few articles, which I will discuss in later posts. Basically, more government revenue is needed from the "big offenders." (Translation: you fat, lazy Americans need to pay up for poisoning the Earth.)

This is about bigger government, except that it has now morphed into a global plan; there appears to be a move afoot to empower the United Nations as the arbiter of accepted, environmentally ideal behavior. The U.N. wants to become a socialist entity that the public feels must be relied on to save us from our "capitalistic transgressions."

This really is just an old political duel--this is capitalism versus socialism all over again; they've merely dressed it up in new clothing to distract everyone. Don't be fooled...oil is the lifeblood of capitalism, and oil is under direct threat now from socialist elements. We should reduce our dependence on foreign oil to enhance our security, but WE CANNOT eliminate our need for oil. If we do it as quickly as demanded by the climate alarmists (remember, we must ACT NOW before it's too late), the world economy will face disaster. Liberal elites need disaster (or heck, even perceived and believed doom) to create and foster governmental dependence. What they really need is another "Great Depression" to fight off the "conservative hoards" via the introduction of a new New Deal.

Pay no attention to that Al Gore behind that curtain!
