Boxer: Hackers at fault for Climategate

See what psycho Democrats do when their little hoax is in mortal danger of being consumed by fire? They go after the "hackers" who made everyone aware of the lie. Only problem is that no one knows for sure that this was a hacker. There have been some reports that Climategate was set off by a whistleblower on the inside. God, I hope that's true. I love watching these environmentalist nutcases writhe around in agony because they look like idiots, and NOTHING is more delicious than watching Barbara Boxer writhe around.

Of course, she doesn't want to treat the perpetrators of this climate bullshit as criminals...people like Al Gore and these so-called scientists who were cooking the data to make a case for global warming.

MA'AM, MA'AM, MA'AM, MA'AM! There I said it! I refuse to call you Senator, MA'AM. MA'AM, MA'AM, MA'AM, MA'AM!

As Senator Inhofe said, "We won, you lost...GET A LIFE!" Is it me or does this woman look like Bea Arthur from Maud?

Leaked e-mails allegedly undermining climate change science should be treated as a criminal matter, Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) said Wednesday afternoon.

Boxer, the top Democrat on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, said that the recently released e-mails, showing scientists allegedly overstating the case for climate change, should be treated as a crime.

"You call it 'Climategate'; I call it 'E-mail-theft-gate,'" she said during a committee meeting. "Whatever it is, the main issue is, Are we facing global warming or are we not? I'm looking at these e-mails, that, even though they were stolen, are now out in the public."

Let the Reckoning Begin: Climategate

ClimateGate. Now these data-manipulating a-holes will have to answer for their lies and unethical practices.

Inhofe Says He Will Call for Investigation on "Climategate" on Washington Times Americas Morning Show

"I said I would discuss the “systematic and documented abuse of the scientific process by which an international body that claims it provides the most complete and objective science assessment in the world on the subject of climate change, the United Nations IPCC.” Now that was four years ago; so we knew they were cooking the science back then, and you’ve been talking about the, you know, what’s happened recently with the bloggers coming up with what they did, what they…"

Lord Lawson, the former chancellor, has called for an independent inquiry into claims that leading climate change scientists manipulated data to strengthen the case for man-made global warming.

Thousands of emails and documents stolen from the University of East Anglia (UEA) and posted online indicate that researchers massaged figures to mask the fact that world temperatures have been declining in recent years. This morning Lord Lawson, who has reinvented himself as a prominent climate change sceptic since leaving front line politics, demanded that the apparent deception be fully investigated.

Inhofe: 2009 'Year of the Skeptic'

I can only say GO SENATOR INHOFE!!! Thanks goodness for you...you may be the only thinking politician in Washington when it comes to 'manmade global warming.'

"I proudly declare 2009 as the 'Year of the Skeptic,' the year in which scientists who question the so-called global warming consensus are being heard," Inhofe said to Boxer in a Senate speech. "Until this year, any scientist, reporter or politician who dared raise even the slightest suspicion about the science behind global warming was dismissed and repeatedly mocked."

Inhofe added: "Today I have been vindicated."

The Ada (Oklahoma) Evening News quotes Inhofe: "So when Barbara Boxer, John Kerry and all the left get up there and say, 'Yes. We're going to pass a global warming bill,' I will be able to stand up and say, 'No, it's over. Get a life. You lost. I won,'" Inhofe said.

Inhofe to Boxer: "We Won, You Lost, Get a Life"

Relating to those damaging climate scientist email leaks out of the UK, this speaks for itself. Bravo Senator Inhofe. Senator Boxer (or Ma'am...since you eviscerate military generals for calling you that), stick that gavel in your butt and hop to the North Pole.

EPA Silences One of its Own

Of course the EPA is suppressing this report from ‘one of their own.’ They can’t have any of this whistle-blowing stuff going on. It’s just like a similar dissenting report that came out of the Obama Administration: All one sees are attempts to cover up dissent. It’s the same reason Al Gore won’t debate anyone over global warming; he knows he’ll get his head handed to him, because he’s a moron.

Alarmists have been resorting to this sort of climate cover-up business since the very beginning of Hansen’s manufactured CO2 claims. They know the science is shaky to non-existent; they know the empirical evidence doesn’t stack up in their favor—especially now. They don’t care. Too many jobs, reputations, and fortunes hang in the balance now to let truth ruin it all.

But there is a problem. It’s all full of crap and people know it. That’s not stopping Obama or his minions in Congress who need to exact more control. Think it’s all science now and no politics? If so, you’re very gullible.

Sen. Inhofe Calls for Inquiry Into 'Suppressed' Climate Change Report

Republicans are raising questions about why the EPA apparently dismissed an analyst's report questioning the science behind global warming.

A top Republican senator has ordered an investigation into the Environmental Protection Agency's alleged suppression of a report that questioned the science behind global warming.

The 98-page report, co-authored by EPA analyst Alan Carlin, pushed back on the prospect of regulating gases like carbon dioxide as a way to reduce global warming. Carlin's report argued that the information the EPA was using was out of date, and that even as atmospheric carbon dioxide levels have increased, global temperatures have declined.

"He came out with the truth. They don't want the truth at the EPA," Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla, a global warming skeptic, told FOX News, saying he's ordered an investigation. "We're going to expose it."

And now a warning from Sen. Inhofe

We already know that liberals and certain conservatives want to hurt our economy to "fight global warming for our grandkids" Am I lying? Bill Clinton said it himself--read it and weep. There's a ton of proof right here in this blog listing the antics of liberal alarmists, and the solutions always involve slowing, eliminating, or hindering some vestige of capitalism. Here's more proof in this article. The liberal believers at the EPA want to do all sorts of damage to our way of life (capitalism) in the name of "saving the planet." Guess what? You can't save something that IS NOT IN DANGER!

Bravo for standing up for truth, Senator Inhofe.

Tulsa World: Inhofe: EPA too powerful, could damage economy:

WASHINGTON — While others criticized the Bush administration's inaction on greenhouse gases, U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe warned Friday that it has put in place a scenario that will bankrupt the U.S. economy.

A key player in the years-long debate over climate change, the Oklahoma Republican agreed that using the Clean Air Act to put new regulations in place would be an unprecedented expansion of the Environmental Protection Agency's authority that would impact every household.

"Obviously the concept of regulating carbon dioxide under the Clean Air Act is flawed and the act must be amended by Congress," Inhofe said.

"Today's notice should concern all lawmakers; no one should want the EPA to exercise the kind of power and authority that the career staff at EPA contemplates."

Last month, he said, the Senate rejected a "cap-and-trade" proposal that would allow companies to buy or sell allowances depending on their level of pollution.

"It is ironic that the EPA has proposed an even more economically destructive scheme this close to that bill's demise," Inhofe said.

"If Congress does not act, then the resulting regulations could be the largest regulatory intrusion into Americans' personal lives, a nightmare scenario.

"Big Brother is alive and well in the career ranks at the EPA."

Junk Science: NASA prophet trips over facts, falls on face

Steven Milloy of junkscience.com does his usual good job of poking holes in the hyperbole of AGW believers, but particularly against our old non-friend, Dr. James Hansen—the chief climate soothsayer who prophesied twenty years ago while testifying before the U.S. Senate that our destruction at the hands of CO2 would take twenty years! Here we are twenty years later...still here, with the global mean temperature continuing its downward trend as CO2 continues rising (still in minute proportions compared to water and methane).

Before you decide to give Hansen his props as some unassailable, incorruptible climate scientist, you should check out these links at the U.S. Senate Committee for Environment and Public Works (currently the minority page). There is a ton of information here about Hansen, including his financial ties to moveon.org benefactor, George Soros. Isn't that cute? We hear incessantly that climate scientists who debunk global warming are in the pockets of "big oil," and yet here is an example where the "Father of Global Warming" (yes, weird that honor is not reserved for Al Gore) is in the pocket of one of the wealthiest liberal elites to ever walk the ever-cooling Earth.

As an added bonus, John McCain is showing that he’s Obama’s equal on climate stupidity. OR maybe he believes that the American public has been so brainwashed that he has no choice politically but to get on-board with the insanity. It might be a smart political move, but it’s ultimately bad for America.

Look folks, there may be a future in America without oil, but in the near term, oil will be required to continue driving our economy. There’s currently no energy source that is as efficient and as safe as petrol, though some arguments could be made for nuclear energy.

With Y2K, millions were spent to head-off a problem that never occurred. People everywhere panicked and hoarded food, fuel, medicine, and so on, preparing for the coming apocalypse. Proponents would say that spending those millions prevented the disaster, but I’m not certain that’s the case—there was no real way to be completely prepared.

Now, we’re poised to spend trillions in hopes of reducing CO2 emissions, and I contend that it won’t make much of a difference. Wait and see, sheep. The Earth will not succumb to disaster at our hands, and the alarmists will be able to shout that their enacted, expensive solutions made the difference! That’s why they need to sustain the pipe-dream until some sort of large government action is taken; then they can claim their actions led to success. Wait and see, sheep, wait and see. One can almost read this boondoggle like a cheap novel.

Junk Science: Where's McCain’s 'Fuel Cell Express'?

NASA’s James Hansen tried this week to surf the 20th anniversary of his famous congressional testimony that launched global warming hysteria. Apparently not wanting to be left out of the green hoopla, John McCain tried to catch Hansen’s wave.

Both wiped out with embarrassing proposals.

You might have thought that Hansen’s main talking point this week would have been, "See, I was right." But, of course, he wasn’t, so he couldn’t take any credit.

With 20 years of real-life data to compare against Hansen’s 1988 predictions, it’s clear that reality has way underperformed on his fantasy of carbon-dioxide-stoked warming.

No doubt this is in large part due to Hansen’s yet-to-be-validated assumption that manmade CO2 emissions drive global climate in a meaningful way.

Hansen has been so far off the mark in forecasting global warming that he seems to have forsaken it altogether in favor of simply declaring that atmospheric CO2 levels must be reduced from the current level of about 380 parts per million to less than 350 ppm "to preserve creation, the planet on which civilization developed."

But there is no scientific analysis to support 350 ppm or any other specific target as the preferred level of atmospheric CO2; moreover, 350 ppm also is not something likely to happen in our lifetimes no matter what we do.

***

Bereft of science, Hansen was left to do what he does best — act the drama queen, as he did in 2006 when he likened the Bush administration to Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union for reviewing his public presentations before he made them.

***

Earlier this week, as part of his proposal that taxpayers award $300 million to the developer of the next generation auto battery that would leapfrog hybrid and electric car technology, McCain also proposed that auto manufacturers be given a $5,000 tax credit for every zero-emissions vehicle they sell.

But when you do the math, McCain’s proposal turns out to be little more than a taxpayer rip-off in favor of ZEV makers

Senate AGW bill could send gas prices through the roof

Get ready. Barbara Boxer, John McCain, and all the global-warming-believing fruitcakes are going to pass this BS and hit you in the wallet. You think gas prices are high now? Just wait until these idiots try to "save the Earth" from nonexistent BS.

Global warming is NOT REAL PEOPLE. Wake up! Talk about a recession...this crap will definitely push us and the world over the edge.

Senators Warn Bill Could Spike Gas $1.50 to $5 a Gallon:

Worried about gas prices hitting $4 a gallon and beyond? Imagine if they were $6, $7 or even $8 a gallon. Those levels are a certain possibility should Congress pass cap-and-trade legislation, which could face a vote in early June.

Inhofe spoke at a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. on May 15 to introduce the “We Get It!” campaign – a program founded by evangelical Christians that question the merits of global warming alarmism. According to Inhofe, the bill will make it to the floor of the Senate on June 2.
