To a chorus of boos, a man dressed as a polar bear entered Copenhagen's main conference center Tuesday and began paging the discredited climate scientist whose hacked e-mails sparked the Climate-Gate scandal.

Using a megaphone to pierce the rumble of hundreds gathered inside the Bella Center, which is hosting the city's global climate summit, the polar bear boomed out:

"PHIL JONES??? HAS ANYONE SEEN PHIL JONES???"

Jones, who stepped down from his leading academic post amid swirling scandal earlier this month, has reportedly skipped the climate conference entirely. But his shadow and his words could affect its outcome.

Animal Death-Watch: It's Raining Polar Bears!

The entire endangered polar bear theory has been debunked (primarily because global warming has been debunked); remember the famous cropped photo of the polar bear on the floating chunk of ice from a few years ago? We were supposed to believe that it was a sad polar bear, because its floating ice boat was melting due to our evil capitalistic transgressions. Then the truth came out. Here, airplanes are again being targeted as the culprit of anti-Marxist evil; meanwhile, the lefty hypocrites continue using their private jets and huge motorcades without hesitation.

We see, in this instance of propaganda, the environmental psychos--unable to rely on reality--turn to CGI to freak you out (as commanded by the U.N.), complete with flopping, smashing polar bear gore. Hey, they've got to get your attention somehow, since you're freezing your butt off right now...probably. It hasn't 'warmed' in over 10 years and scientists are 'baffled' at where global warming went, yet we STILL see complete crap like this coming from the lefty psychos. Why? Because they're losing the propaganda campaign.

This type of fear-provoking, anti-capitalist article certainly isn’t new to the plethora of lefty writings that detail what our love of electronics is doing to scorch the Earth. We’ve seen computers, video games, flat screen TVs, Christmas lights, and LCD monitors attacked before for their transgressions against an ordered, socialist society, which poots not one ounce of carbon into the atmosphere.

This attack on electronics doesn’t include the other “Mean Green” attacks on such capitalist offerings as drive-through restaurants, cows, toilet paper, automobiles, air travel, and old-fashioned light bulbs.

Environmental alarms raised over consumer electronics

The choice might not be quite that stark, but an energy watchdog is alarmed about the threat to the environment from the soaring electricity needs of gadgets like MP3 players, mobile phones and flat screen TVs.

In a report Wednesday, the Paris-based International Energy Agency estimates new electronic gadgets will triple their energy consumption by 2030 to 1,700 terawatt hours, the equivalent of today's home electricity consumption of the United States and Japan combined.

Alaska Mad At DC Democrats For Polar Bear “Protections”

As the left-thinking side of our nation continues in its attempts to push us over the “climate change cliff,” the governor of Alaska cried foul for playing with her state’s economic growth potential based on shoddy data and stupid science.

Alarmists love to claim that polar bears (and scores of other animals) are on the verge of extinction due to manmade global warming—an imagined “reality” that is completely stupid and without any merit in data or science (and that’s with consideration of the opinions and pseudo-science offered up by its usual suspects). The warmlist and Animal Death-Watch series list scores of such “endangered animals.” If you believe these “news” stories then you believe that the Earth will be without most flora and fauna within a few decades, which is the most comical thing I’ve ever heard...much less typed.

The hyperbolic paragraph below attributed to Kassie Siegel really brings home just what sort of crack these alarmists are smoking. POLAR BEARS ARE NOT EXTINCT and they are IN NO DANGER OF BEING EXTINCT! If anyone has their “head in the sand” it’s the stupid alarmists like Siegel, who continue to ignore the fact that manmade global warming is nonexistent.

In my opinion, the global warming hoax and cult have been completely exposed, but as long as the media still maintains its unassailability as truth then we’ll continue to watch as opportunists maneuver to take advantage in whatever way they can—whether for profit or political power (or both).

Alaska Sues U.S. Over 'Threatened' Polar Bear Status:

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The state of Alaska sued Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne on Monday, seeking to reverse his decision to list polar bears as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act.

Gov. Sarah Palin and other state officials fear a listing will cripple offshore oil and gas development in the Chukchi and Beaufort seas in Alaska's northern waters, which provide prime habitat for the only polar bears under U.S. jurisdiction.

"We believe that the Service's decision to list the polar bear was not based on the best scientific and commercial data available," Palin said in announcing the lawsuit.

Kassie Siegel of the Center for Biological Diversity, the lead author of the petition that led to the listing, said U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service scientists addressed skeptics' objections during the listing process. She called the lawsuit "completely ridiculous and a waste of the court's time."

"This lawsuit and her head-in-the-sand approach to global warming only helps oil companies, certainly not Alaska or the polar bear," Siegel said. "Gov. Palin should be working for sustainable, clean energy development in Alaska instead of extinction for the polar bear."

EPA scientists pressured to bias their results

Still question whether politics is currently corrupting science? A usual tactic often employed by these political elements is to recognize the truth and then claim the opposite: here, the NYT is telling us that politics is corrupting science, EXCEPT that the boogeyman is portrayed as CONSERVATIVE politics that is choosing to ignore “consensus science.” (Funny, because, right now, conservative elites are jumping on the bandwagon just like liberals.)

As a non-consensus scientist, let me state this fact:

There is NO SUCH THING AS CONSENSUS IN SCIENCE! Science DOES NOT work like an L.A. street gang. (Google “Galileo” or Google “Darwin” to read about mavericks who resisted the consensus—and were RIGHT!)

This article couldn't be more poignant at pointing out how politics is currently attempting to corrupt science for its own ends; right now, the lie of manmade global warming has become the centerpiece of worldwide climate politics and environmental movements (not climate science). It's surprising to see the AP publishing this rather frank admission, when they have been guilty of propagandizing this issue themselves for years.

Basically, these EPA scientists are saying, through a survey instrument (which they were initially told not to answer), that federal politicians have been trying to coax and intimidate certain results or answers out of the scientists, so that the politicians would be free to scream “consensus science” when confronted with debate and argument over proposed U.S. and U.N. environmental policies—policies that will cost you money and will increase the power of the politicians involved. In the process, many scientists have begun to wake up and realize that they're corrupting an institution that they've been charged with protecting—the unbiased, untainted scientific search for truth.

REAL climate science is currently under attack. Radical political and environmental elements have seized an opportunity in the theory of human-induced climate change—a theory that, regardless of the way it's portrayed by Al Gore and the media, is still not proven beyond scientific doubt. Animal Death-Watch: Koalas

From now until this hoax is fully exposed, I will highlight media fear pieces that predict the demise or harm of species as a result of "manmade climate change." These pieces will be entitled "Animal Death-Watch." An oft-used media tactic is to pick cute, cuddly looking creatures and show how our modern way of life (i.e., capitalism) is killing them off.

In the past, we've seen stories of polar bears, seals, newts, frogs, and now koalas. And, please review the extensive list of articles that predicted all sorts of extinctions due to global warming. Let's see how many of these critters actually end up harmed, shall we? I predict NONE!

This one is funny, because it depicts the harm first to a plant (eucalyptus trees), the leaves of which form the dietary staple of these lovable little fuzz balls. Aren't plants nourished by CO2, heat, and sunlight? Whatever happened to basic biology and botany? No matter...just stick a few eucalyptus seeds in the Arctic lock box and call it a day.

Protecting polar bears postponed?

Federal officials said Monday that they will need a few more weeks to decide whether polar bears need protection under the Endangered Species Act because of global warming.

The deadline was Wednesday, but the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said it now hopes to provide a recommendation to Interior Secretary Dirk Kempthorne in time for a decision by him within the next month.

The department has never declared a species threatened or endangered because of climate change, said Dale Hall, director of the Fish and Wildlife Service.
"That's why this one has been so taxing and challenging to us," he said.

Environmental groups that petitioned to protect polar bears, arguing that warming threatened their habitat, said they would go court to ensure a timely decision.

"We certainly hope that the polar bear will be listed within the next month," said Kassie Siegel, an attorney for the Center for Biological Diversity.

Ice Pioneer Eyes Farthest Glaciers

"There are indications of warming," explained Kasis Inape, a senior government climatologist here. "But we can't really confidently say the temperature change has been this much or that much, because the actual data are lacking."

This is one of the usual tactics of AGW fear-mongers; they want you to believe that the polar ice caps are melting at 'an increasingly alarming rate.' Another tactic is to make you believe we're killing off species, like the polar bears and penguins, when in fact the 'polar bear on the melting ice' was proven to be falsely hyped photo taken in the summer--when ice normally melts in the arctic (yes, that's right folks...it melts and refreezes every year). Yet another tactic was to tell you that hurricanes are increasing because of warming (Al Gore's favorite), but we've seen that tact has worked out too well for them over the past two years of dire predictions.
