U.N.'s Pachuri Surprised by Scandal Outrage

These schmucks just don't get it. In one year, SEVERAL climate change scandals were revealed (see Climategate, NASA-gate, Glacier-gate, Rainforest-gate, and Netherland-gate). All of these "respectable, scientific" agencies were caught manipulating data, hiding data, destroying data, conspiring to limit legitimate scientific debate (from skeptical climate scientists), and in this case, quoting environmentalist propaganda as scientific fact (when, IN FACT, it wasn't true). The media has been in an accomplice by REFUSING to cover any of these stories.

All of these scandals prove what 'deniers' and 'skeptics' have been saying all along: global warming is a trumped-up capitalism killer. That's all it is and ever will be.

The head of the UN climate science body has admitted he was taken entirely by surprise by the ferocious public reaction to a blunder in its report on Himalayan glaciers. But he insisted the controversy had not set back efforts to secure action on climate change.

The mistake, a false assertion that the Himalayan glaciers would disappear by 2035, exacted severe damage to the reputation of the IPCC and its head, Rajendra Pachauri. It also provided further fuel to the controversy over the emails stolen from East Anglia's climate research unit and released online a year ago today.

Now We Have NASA-gate

Once again, we have to rely on Fox News and the British press to report these legitimate stories. Wonder why the lefty press is ignoring it? Hmmm? Anyone? Bueller?

Hansen's GISS at NASA is using the flawed data from another scandal (East Anglia) and thus making itself into another climate scandal. So, we now have three different but interrelated climate scandals: East Anglia's CRU (Climate-gate), U.N. IPCC's flawed climate report (too many "-gates" to mention), and now NASA's flawed climate data (based on CRU's climate data).

These morons represent the "consensus." The flaws are easy to see for anyone with a brain, but the Kool-Aid drinkers won't go quietly.

Not everyone is sipping the global warming Kool-Aid.

Concerns about the validity of NASA's climate research are being raised following revelations that the space agency admitted its data was less accurate than other weather trackers'. Disturbed by these reports, as well as the growing Climate-gate scandal that has left global-warming theorists reeling, Senators John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) and David Vitter (R-La.) have written a letter to space agency chief Charles Bolden demanding answers.

"The American people deserve to learn the truth about the data," Barrasso told FoxNews.com, stressing the risks of basing public policy on science that remains largely undecided.

The letter, expressing concern with NASA's newly revealed use of data from the East Anglia University's Climatic Research Unit, cites interviews with CRU's chief Phil Jones and programmer Ian "Harry" Harris, both of whom denigrated the quality of the CRU data. "No uniform data integrity, it's just a catalogue of issues that continues to grow as they're found. This whole project is SUCH A MESS," Harris reportedly commented.

Climategate Scientists Cleared by One-Day Panel

Is anyone surprised by this? I predicted this long ago. The reputations of the university, scientists, and politicians involved are all on the line, should the information--the proof--that this manmade global warming is nothing but trumped up nonsense (because it is) becomes common knowledge. Millions in climate research grants are on the line, and the universities directly benefit from those grants.

Two more panels to go, but they'll reach the same conclusion, even though the humiliated Phil Jones of the CRU has more or less admitted that global warming hasn't happened in 15 years and that there were global warm periods that preceded the industrial age.

And this all preceded similar scandals with the U.N.'s IPCC, where Dr. Pachuri admitted fault and political hyperbole in its Nobel-winning report, the pseudo-science of which was directly fed by Jones' CRU at East Anglia. This is A SCAM. Nothing else. And Obama continues on...

The scientific research into historical temperature records was misrepresented by the United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), which failed to consider uncertainties the scientists had reported concerning the raw temperature data.

The inquiry panel of leading scientists, nominated by the Royal Society, said that the University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit may not have used the best methods for analyzing temperature records. The Unit also failed to store its data and keep full records of exactly what it had done, preventing other scientists from checking all its findings.

U.N. Climate Chief Apologizes Again, Refuses Resignation

This was from a story back in March 2010. Weird that the U.N. recently asked for new climate taxes AFTER this disgraced schmuck said they wouldn't ask for taxes anymore.

The outspoken chairman of the U.N.’s climate change body is to adopt a neutral advisory role and has agreed to stop making statements demanding new taxes and other radical policies on cutting emissions.

IPCC Acknowledges Climategate?

So, the IPCC has “acknowledged Climategate”? I sincerely doubt it. Anyway, since they’re arranging their own review, one has to wonder how “unbiased” it will actually be? Here’s a prediction that will come true: Regardless of any critical findings by any panel that “independently” reviews the IPCC, I GUARANTEE you that this review panel will say, in effect, “This is in no way meant to imply that manmade CO2 DOES NOT cause warming. The vast majority of scientists still feel it does.” There WILL BE some statement to that effect in the review report, because these morons have all staked their reputations on making certain that manmade global warming is unquestioned.

That’s where the train comes off the tracks. Whatever they do with this review panel, it’s all window-dressing meant to “damage control” against the climate scandals and recent freezing weather. Sorry IPCC, but the cat is out of the bag. Americans now know that you are lying bungholes. I would call you scumbags, but that would be a disservice to bags of scum.

In the wake of errors, cover-ups and scandal, top United Nations officials will announce Wednesday a review of its Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Ban Ki-moon, the U.N. secretary general, and Rajendra Pachauri, the chairman of the IPCC, are set to announce that the InterAcademy Council (IAC), an organization representing scientists from around the world, will head up the review.

AP Covers Climate Data Revision, Slams Skeptics

Trying to walk the truth high-wire, the AP is trying to prove its journalistic integrity by covering the fact that the U.N.’s IPCC must examine and likely revise its temperature data. Why must the IPCC examine and revise its own data? Because it has been shown to be full of errors and alarmist hype, and we’re using their Nobel-winning, erroneous reports to drive global governance of carbon emissions. This global governance of carbon will cost each person in our country dearly. We must ENSURE that it’s not all a lie and we must not simply trust some government-anointed “consensus” because they said, “trust us, we’re right...skeptics are wrong.” Oh yeah, prove us skeptics wrong BASED ON scientific data. The paltry number comprising the “consensus” has been shown to lack integrity in recent accumulating scandals in climatology.

Of course, the point the AP misses (what a surprise) is that THIS RENEWED SELF-SCRUTINY by the IPCC WAS A RESULT OF SKEPTICISM! If skeptics weren’t asking for raw data from the “consensus” to examine (and researching Hansen’s claims, and reading ten years of CRU emails, and so on), none of the errors, manipulations, cover-ups, obstructions, and lies would have been discovered, and the global warming scare cult would go along as it has for years—unchecked and unquestioned.

But, predictably, the AP takes the alarmist’s advocacy tactic of criticizing the skeptic or “denier,” if you will. Ad hominem attacks refuse to address the central issue: Show me unquestionable proof that atmospheric carbon has warmed the Earth in the last 200 years and continues to do so.

It's interesting to see the contrast between the AP's story and the one from Fox News. Fox actually gives some time to the scandals that the AP just tries to gloss over and bury.

GENEVA -- World weather agencies have agreed to collect more precise temperature data to improve climate change science, officials said Wednesday, as U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon urged environment ministers to reject efforts by skeptics to derail a global climate deal.

Just one year ago a pronouncement from the United Nations' Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPPC) was all that was needed to move nations and change environmental policies around the world. But today, the panel's creditability and even its very existence are in question.

In the wake of its swift and devastating fall from grace, the panel says it will announce "within the next few days" that it plans to make significant though as yet unexplained changes in how it does business.

U.N. Admits Netherland-gate

Add this to all the other "errors" that the latest IPCC report contains. Every story that now admits these various climate scandals has the same disclaimer:

"...DO NOT AFFECT CORE CONCLUSIONS THAT HUMAN ACTIVITIES, LED BY BURNING FOSSIL FUELS, ARE WARMING THE GLOBE"

You'll find some version of the disclaimer listed above in every news story that MUST ADMIT flawed data or sourcing as it pertains to global warming. Why? Because they've got to keep the little fart cloud aloft somehow. Too many livelihoods, profits, and reputations are at stake to admit the lie completely.

OSLO (Reuters) - The U.N. panel of climate experts overstated how much of the Netherlands is below sea level, according to a preliminary report on Saturday, admitting yet another flaw after a row last month over Himalayan glacier melt.

A background note by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said a 2007 report wrongly stated that 55 percent of the country was below sea level since the figure included areas above sea level, prone to flooding along rivers.

The United Nations has said errors in the 2007 report of about 3,000 pages do not affect the core conclusions that human activities, led by burning fossil fuels, are warming the globe.

"The sea level statistic was used for background information only, and the updated information remains consistent with the overall conclusions," the IPCC note dated February 12 said.

Skeptics say errors have exposed sloppiness and over-reliance on "grey literature" outside leading scientific journals. The panel's reports are a main guide for governments seeking to work out costly policies to combat global warming.

Globe: Great Global Warming Collapse

Speaks for itself...read it and weep, alarmist schmucks. End of the road for you, toads. Finally some mainstream media writers are daring to venture into the chasm, as they can see the writing on the wall.

But the claim was rubbish, and the world's top glaciologists knew it. It was based not on rigorously peer-reviewed science but on an anecdotal report by the WWF itself. When its background came to light on the eve of Copenhagen, Rajendra Pachauri, the head of the IPCC, shrugged it off. But now, even leading scientists and environmental groups admit the IPCC is facing a crisis of credibility that makes the Climategate affair look like small change.

The global warming movement as we have known it is dead,” the brilliant analyst Walter Russell Mead says in his blog on The American Interest. It was done in by a combination of bad science and bad politics.

The impetus for the Copenhagen conference was that the science makes it imperative for us to act. But even if that were true – and even if we knew what to do – a global deal was never in the cards. As Mr. Mead writes, “The global warming movement proposed a complex set of international agreements involving vast transfers of funds, intrusive regulations in national economies, and substantial changes to the domestic political economies of most countries on the planet.” Copenhagen was never going to produce a breakthrough. It was a dead end.

And now, the science scandals just keep on coming. First there was the vast cache of e-mails leaked from the University of East Anglia, home of a crucial research unit responsible for collecting temperature data. Although not fatal to the science, they revealed a snakepit of scheming to keep contradictory research from being published, make imperfect data look better, and withhold information from unfriendly third parties. If science is supposed to be open and transparent, these guys acted as if they had a lot to hide.

Now There's Rainforest-gate

Same crappy U.N. IPCC report...same crappy non-science. Global warming is scientifically-based? I think not. It's just junk science, plain and simple. Scandals keep multiplying for the global warming crowd who had proclaimed their "science" as "unassailable."

A United Nations report on climate change that has been lambasted for its faulty research is under new attack for yet another instance of what its critics say is sloppy science -- adding to a growing scandal that has undermined the credibility of scientists and policymakers who back the U.N.'s findings about global warming.

In the Fourth Assessment Report (AR4), issued in 2007 by the U.N.'s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), scientists wrote that 40 percent of the Amazon rainforest in South America was endangered by global warming.

But that assertion was discredited this week when it emerged that the findings were based on numbers from a study by the World Wildlife Federation that had nothing to do with the issue of global warming -- and that was written by a freelance journalist and green activist.

U.N. Climate Change Chief: Expect More Errors

Okay, so this schmuck scientist isn't going to resign (surprise...sounds like all the other climate liars) but he IS telling us to expect more errors in that stupid, lying climate report that predicted all sorts of doom for the world, unless we hand all power and wealth over to the U.N. to save us from ourselves. What baloney. Had enough yet, sheep? Ready to accept that you've been had? I certainly hope so.

No, Dr. Pachauri, I don't want your 'blood.' I just want you to shut up and go away...stop spreading fear in the world, using science for political purposes.

Dr Rajendra Pachauri dismissed calls for him to resign over the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change’s retraction of a prediction that Himalayan glaciers could disappear by 2035.

But he admitted that there may have been other errors in the same section of the report, and said that he was considering whether to take action against those responsible.

“I know a lot of climate sceptics are after my blood, but I’m in no mood to oblige them,” he told The Times in an interview. “It was a collective failure by a number of people,” he said. “I need to consider what action to take, but that will take several weeks. It’s best to think with a cool head, rather than shoot from the hip.”
