GASP!: We're Done For in Y3K

Even after all the empirical and actual evidence (not to mention scandals), the elitist kooks out there--propagandizing under a veil they call "science"--refuse to acknowledge that their little demonize-CO2 escapade has failed. No one--except for liberal elitists--is falling for the BS any longer.

This blog has covered numerous dire climate predictions in just three short years, ranging from 18 months (Prince Charles) to now 1000 years. Of course, we've seen that the dingbat known as Prince Charles was proven wrong so early that he had to modify his 18-month prediction a few times; I have no idea upon what authority he feels he can make predictions and be taken seriously...but the media sure takes him seriously.

But there have been many predictions from so-called knowledgeable scientists. So, who's right? Which one of these geniuses do we believe? Are Americans really this stupid? Our history is full of idiot religious leaders prophesying the end times, which never came to pass. In my opinion, there's no difference between these religious zealots and the climate zealots. Climate change is the new religion, and it DEMANDS faith from its followers.

Even if humans stop producing excess carbon dioxide in 2100, the lingering effects of global warming could span the next millennia. The results? By the year 3000, global warming would be more than a hot topic - the West Antarctic ice sheet could collapse, and global sea levels would rise by about 13 feet (4 meters), according to a new study.

Using a computer model, researchers looked at two scenarios - an end to humans' industrial carbon dioxide emissions by 2010 and by 2100 - stretched out to the year 3000.

Even if humans were to stop emitting excess carbon dioxide - or if they figured out a way to completely capture it - the effects of global warming would continue to accumulate. That's because previously emitted carbon dioxide lingers in the atmosphere and the oceans, unlike land, warm only gradually, according to one of the study researchers, Shawn Marshall, an associate professor of geography at the University of Calgary.

Major Error Leads to AGW Book Withdrawal

Interesting. Laurie David is the environmentalist psycho-woman recently implicated in the tabloids as having an affair with Al Gore, which allegedly led to Gore’s separation from his wife of 40 years, Tipper. No clue if that’s true, but David and Gore are good buddies and share the same warped, doomsday beliefs.

More and more people are rejecting this ridiculous global warming garbage. I recommend to all parents that you deprogram your children (as I’ve done with my own) when they come home with that global warming fear garbage scared into them by the socialist school teachers.

Also note how they’re going to stop using the hyperbolic DeCaprio video that blames “global warming” on man’s “addiction to oil.”

Millard Public Schools will stop using a children's book about global warming -- but only until the district can obtain copies with a factual error corrected.

A review committee, convened after parents complained, concluded that author Laurie David's book, "The Down-to-Earth Guide to Global Warming," contained "a major factual error" in a graphic about rising temperatures and carbon dioxide levels.

Mark Feldhausen, associate superintendent for educational services, this week sent a letter to parents who complained, including the wife of U.S. Rep. Lee Terry of Nebraska, outlining the committee's findings.

"Although the authors have pledged to correct the graph in subsequent editions, the committee recommends that this correction be made to all MPS-owned texts before using it with students in the future," Feldhausen wrote.

Corrected versions will continue to be used in Millard's sixth-grade language arts curriculum, he wrote.

However, the district will cease to use a companion video about global warming, narrated by actor Leonardo DiCaprio, he wrote.

The committee found the video "without merit" and recommended that it not be used.

These schm-iberals will never stop with the ridiculous Chicken Little routine. But since this guy says the situation is "irreversible," we should just live it up (seeing as how we'll all be dead soon anyway).

We can give up on all the ridiculous solutions that Al Gore and his ilk propose but ignore for themselves. Things like painting our roofs white (Gore doesn't), living away from the soon-to-be flooded coasts (Gore doesn't), and driving hybrid cars (Gore doesn't).

If anyone ever doubted whether this moron is a schmuck-assed bastard, here's your proof. Prince Charles hasn't been content with his failed predictions of global warming doom, which he tends to revise after each of the dates of Armageddon pass by unfulfilled.

Seems like someone is finally learning. You're right, author: All of your psychotic enviro-brethren have greatly harmed their credibility by predicting disaster every chance they get. Just read the GASP! series and warmlist to see all the ridiculous things attributed to global warming and one get's the picture. If that stupidity isn't enough to convince you, just read up on all the scandal news that has rocked the global warming alarmism establishment.

Climate science, even at its most uncontroversial, could never motivate the remaking of the entire global energy economy. Efforts to use climate science to threaten an apocalyptic future should we fail to embrace green proposals, and to characterize present-day natural disasters as terrifying previews of an impending day of reckoning, have only served to undermine the credibility of both climate science and progressive energy policy.
