EPA Silences One of its Own

Of course the EPA is suppressing this report from ‘one of their own.’ They can’t have any of this whistle-blowing stuff going on. It’s just like a similar dissenting report that came out of the Obama Administration: All one sees are attempts to cover up dissent. It’s the same reason Al Gore won’t debate anyone over global warming; he knows he’ll get his head handed to him, because he’s a moron.

Alarmists have been resorting to this sort of climate cover-up business since the very beginning of Hansen’s manufactured CO2 claims. They know the science is shaky to non-existent; they know the empirical evidence doesn’t stack up in their favor—especially now. They don’t care. Too many jobs, reputations, and fortunes hang in the balance now to let truth ruin it all.

But there is a problem. It’s all full of crap and people know it. That’s not stopping Obama or his minions in Congress who need to exact more control. Think it’s all science now and no politics? If so, you’re very gullible.

Sen. Inhofe Calls for Inquiry Into 'Suppressed' Climate Change Report

Republicans are raising questions about why the EPA apparently dismissed an analyst's report questioning the science behind global warming.

A top Republican senator has ordered an investigation into the Environmental Protection Agency's alleged suppression of a report that questioned the science behind global warming.

The 98-page report, co-authored by EPA analyst Alan Carlin, pushed back on the prospect of regulating gases like carbon dioxide as a way to reduce global warming. Carlin's report argued that the information the EPA was using was out of date, and that even as atmospheric carbon dioxide levels have increased, global temperatures have declined.

"He came out with the truth. They don't want the truth at the EPA," Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla, a global warming skeptic, told FOX News, saying he's ordered an investigation. "We're going to expose it."

Climate Bill: Beginning or End of Stupidity?

Is this the end or beginning of stupidity? As the close vote in the House shows, this monstrosity, that no one voting on it has even read, could be headed for doom in the Senate--and I certainly hope so. If it dies in the Senate (like all stupid things that Pelosi sends over should) then it may not be the end of stupidity, but it's at least a decent blow to doltishness.

If, however, the Senate manages to pass this dumbass piece of legislation and BHO signs it (and he will), we will face another stupid tax over nothing. Liberally-inspired stupidity abounds and flourishes. Then, these morons will slowly say the climate is moderating (ahem...it already has) and that their legislation (and hidden taxes) did it. See how scams work? Nice, huh?

House narrowly passes major energy-climate bill

WASHINGTON – In a triumph for President Barack Obama, the Democratic-controlled House narrowly passed sweeping legislation Friday that calls for the nation's first limits on pollution linked to global warming and aims to usher in a new era of cleaner, yet more costly energy.

The vote was 219-212, capping months of negotiations and days of intense bargaining among Democrats. Republicans were overwhelmingly against the measure, arguing it would destroy jobs in the midst of a recession while burdening consumers with a new tax in the form of higher energy costs.

AP: Recession Has Cut Warming

The AP is attempting to vindicate the statements of prominent liberal politicians (like Clinton, Prince Charles, Chu, and Geithner), who—before the recession—said that cooling our economy was key to fighting global warming. This article is now saying that the recession (i.e., REDUCED CAPITALISM) has helped our environment by cutting CO2 emissions.

Global warming as a theory is nothing more than socialism masquerading as science, pure and simple; it’s a parlor trick designed to flabbergast the stupid among us into hating capitalism. Capitalism is destroying the Earth, after all (they’re contention…not mine).

I predicted that alarmists would try to find a way out of their lie, such that they solved global warming through their policies. The truth is that there was never a problem, so they can wait for the opportune moment to declare their solutions worked.

Global Recession Cuts Down on Global Warming

AMSTERDAM — The global recession has an up side, at least for people worried about climate change: Carbon emissions are growing more slowly than in recent years, Dutch researchers said Thursday.

But they also said the emissions of developing countries were higher than those of the industrialized world for the first time last year.

Less money in the bank, higher oil prices and a growing use of wind, solar and other renewable energy resources put a brake last year on the increase of the most common greenhouse gas blamed for global warming, said the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency.

Obama: Climate Damage Currently Happening

Bull-f’ing-shiza! What about the current June snow storms? Don’t believe ANY of this garbage! Just remember that it’s politically-motivated. See how the White House climate status report “contains NO NEW RESEARCH.” This means that the assessment is based on someone’s belief or empirical evidence, and all empirical evidence I’ve seen lately seems to point to global COOLING.

Just remember why they’ve got to convince everyone to be afraid; they need support to take action, which means you WILL PAY…in one way or another.

U.S.: Climate Change Damage Happening Now

Harmful effects from global warming are already here and worsening, warns the first climate report from Barack Obama's presidency in the strongest language on climate change ever to come out of the White House.

Global warming has already caused more heavy downpours, the rise of temperatures and sea levels, rapidly retreating glaciers and altered river flows, according to the document released Tuesday by the White House science adviser and other top officials.

"There are in some cases already serious consequences," report co-author Anthony Janetos of the University of Maryland told The Associated Press. "This is not a theoretical thing that will happen 50 years from now. Things are happening now."

The White House document -- a climate status report required periodically by Congress -- contains no new research.

June Winter Storm Hits NJ

Of course, it just keeps getting better and better; empirical evidence only points to cooling as of late, and the media keeps silent. Is it just me or does it seem as if they Universe is trying to slap all the arrogant environmentalists upside their heads?

June Winter Wonderland In New Jersey?

Hail Storm Pounds Parts Of Garden State With Several Inches; Residents Watch In Amazement As Plows Clear Streets

Parts of New Jersey were pummeled by a massive hail storm on Monday afternoon, leaving it looking as if a June blizzard blew through with inches of dime-sized pellets piling up.

Washington Township residents were seen on their driveways breaking out the snow shovels and officials sent out bulldozers to act as snow plows to clear the streets after severe thunderstorms pounded the region. Children were seen forming hailballs.

Glacier Advancing...Not Shrinking

Give me a freakin’ break. I can tell you why this is happening. Because there IS NO GLOBAL WARMING.

Argentine Glacier Advances Despite Global Warming

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina — Argentina's Perito Moreno glacier is one of only a few ice fields worldwide that have withstood rising global temperatures.

Nourished by Andean snowmelt, the glacier constantly grows even as it spawns icebergs the size of apartment buildings into a frigid lake, maintaining a nearly perfect equilibrium since measurements began more than a century ago.

"We're not sure why this happens," said Andres Rivera, a glacialist with the Center for Scientific Studies in Valdivia, Chile. "But not all glaciers respond equally to climate change."

Illinois Has Record Cold June

Is anyone out there awake? Is anyone else seeing all this? Pounds upon pounds of empirical evidence stack up like cord wood every year, and no one is even the slightest bit swayed against this global warming stupidity?

On the contrary, everyone on the planet is ready to do a little zombie chant and follow BHO right over a cliff; we’ll obviously do anything he says, so long as he looks and sounds good when he says it.

I swear this is that 1984 Apple Super Bowl commercial; yes, that trendy nod to George Orwell, except that I’m waiting for the runner to sprint in and launch her sledgehammer at Obama and Gore on the giant screen.

It’s time to stop being media-entranced sheep, my fellow Earthlings.

So far, June's chill is one for the records

The cloudy, chilly and rainy open to June here has been the talk of the town. So far this June is running more than 12 degrees cooler than last year, and the clouds, rain and chilly lake winds have been persistent. The average temperature at O'Hare International Airport through Friday has been only 59.5 degrees: nearly 7 degrees below normal and the coldest since records there began 50 years ago.

Climate Change? Yep…Colder!

Looks like Newsweek was right about the climate after all. Newsweek in 1973, that is. It is quite fun to watch the warming alarmist psychos flop around like fish out of water, as their little greenhouse gas theory goes poof.

More and more empirical evidence mounts to demonstrate that ZERO WARMING IS OCCURRING ON THIS PLANET. Enjoy all the CO2 you want, people.

Crops under stress as temperatures fall

Our politicians haven't noticed that the problem may be that the world is not warming but cooling, observes Christopher Booker.

For the second time in little over a year, it looks as though the world may be heading for a serious food crisis, thanks to our old friend "climate change". In many parts of the world recently the weather has not been too brilliant for farmers. After a fearsomely cold winter, June brought heavy snowfall across large parts of western Canada and the northern states of the American Midwest. In Manitoba last week, it was -4ÂșC. North Dakota had its first June snow for 60 years.

There are obviously various reasons for this concern as to whether the world can continue to feed itself, but one of them is undoubtedly the downturn in world temperatures, which has brought more cold and snow since 2007 than we have known for decades.

Mutiny on Climate Bill

Yay! More and more sensible people are coming out of the wood work—even moderate Democrats, willing to fight against something their constituents DO NOT WANT! I know Obama and the Democrats won control of the federal government, but they were NOT elected as a monarchy (though it appears they believe they were). A good, swift slap in the face from the American voter will put them in their place.

Dem mutiny on climate bill grows, says Peterson

More and more Democrats are ready to vote against Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s climate change bill, according to a congressional committee chairman who opposes his leader.

The House Agriculture Committee Chairman Collin Peterson (D-Minn.) said Wednesday that he’s at an impasse with the lead sponsor of a climate change bill strongly backed by Pelosi (D-Calif.), and that his list of Democratic members who would join him in voting against the measure is growing rather than shrinking.

“We’re stuck,” Peterson said regarding a clash he’s had with House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) over a number of issues in the bill. “And there’s a lot of issues that haven’t even come up yet.”

Drop That Light Bulb…You’re Under Arrest!

Fruitcake liberals in Australia are preparing to burden their police forces with enforcing global warming laws. I am just so flabbergasted that this sort of junk is actually taking place in reality. When will the thinkers stand up? Hello!? Your liberties are being stolen from you, nutjobs.

Climate laws add to police workload

EXCLUSIVE: FRONTLINE police will be forced to become "carbon cops" under the Government's blueprint to cut greenhouse emissions.

The Herald Sun can reveal Australian Federal Police agents will have to prosecute a new range of climate offences.

But they are yet to be offered extra resources, stretching the thin blue line to breaking point.

"The Government is effectively saying to us, 'Ignore other crime types'," Australian Federal Police Association chief Jim Torr said.

LOL: SUVs At Times Better Than Public Transport

All I can do is laugh. I laugh at every tree-hugging moron who ever spat at an SUV from his seat on a public bus. Environmental alarmists are simply clowns…nothing more.

This is a lot like all the scientific data that alarmists choose to gloss over or outright ignore; it seems living in an idealist utopia feels better than dealing with reality.

Think twice about 'green' transport, say scientists

Environmental engineers Mikhail Chester and Arpad Horvath at the University of California at Davis say that when these costs are included, a more complex and challenging picture emerges.

In some circumstances, for instance, it could be more eco-friendly to drive into a city -- even in an SUV, the bete noire of green groups -- rather than take a suburban train. It depends on seat occupancy and the underlying carbon cost of the mode of transport.

"We are encouraging people to look at not the average ranking of modes, because there is a different basket of configurations that determine the outcome," Chester told AFP in a phone interview.

"There's no overall solution that's the same all the time."

Canadian June Frosts

More empirical evidence that the will media ignore as it relates to warming. The words “global warming” or “climate change” don’t appear anywhere in the article, and notice how HARMFUL the late cold is for the crops. But liberal scientists want us to believe they can cool our planet down with all sorts of silly gimmicks, like painting roofs white. Apparently, playing god with the weather would have unintended consequences, although it’s IMPOSSIBLE for them to control the weather.

Each day marks another milestone in the idiocy of this green climate scam; it’s so obviously a fraud, but the fanatics will hang on to the bitter end.

Canada frosts the most widespread in recent memory

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Reuters) - The multiple frosts that have blanketed Western Canada in the last week are the most widespread in the top canola-growing province of Saskatchewan in at least five years, the Canola Council of Canada said on Tuesday.

The downside of the cool weather is that it has left crops in general well behind schedule, he said. The Alberta canola crop is two to three weeks behind development, Pauly said, while the Canadian Wheat Board estimated on Monday that Western Canada wheat and barley crops are at least 10 days behind.

‘Year Without Summer’ in Northeast?

Lots of June cold records recently, and we see this from AccuWeather. Yep, the globe sure is warming…NOT!

Recent Upswing in Lightning

One of the reasons for this could be colder-than-normal weather across the northern tier of the country that has suppressed the number of thunderstorms and has significantly reduced the number of tornadoes this year. The number of reported tornadoes so far this year is 685, just over half of the average annual amount, which is 1,297.

According to Long Range Expert Joe Bastardi, areas from the northern Plains into the Northeast will have a "year without a summer."

Record Low June Temp Set in Green Bay

More empirical evidence that won’t make the alarmists happy; every time we have these ridiculously low temperatures, their little lie wafts away a little more, like a poot caught in front of a fan.

Saturday's high temp in Green Bay sets record for June 6

If it seemed cold to you in Green Bay on Saturday, it was.

The high temperature for the day, reached at 9:50 a.m., was 52. That set a record for the lowest high temperature for June 6, according to the National Weather Service office in Ashwaubenon.

The old mark was 53, set in 1943.

‘Skeptics Meeting’ Mildly Ridiculed

What a surprise, though I AM shocked to see some positive coverage of climate realism in this article that hasn’t appeared before in others. First, they admit that almost NO media covered the event. Surprised? Probably not. Doesn’t fit the media’s agenda to admit that global warming has vast problems. Of course, the line about the absence of media coverage could be meant to convey how ‘outside’ the ‘skeptics’ are, and that’s probably more the case.

But, they did actually cover some of Dr. Spencer’s scientific data, which is something that hasn’t been done much in the mainstream media. To actually talk about his cloud data and how it’s a missing variable in the consensus view is very surprising. Even to say that ‘scientist after scientist’ pointed out the flaws in global warming theory was quite a bold move for this writer, who may harbor some secret skepticism of his own.

However, he lost me when he said that skepticism over global warming isn’t new and that it has ‘been around since the 1970s.’ On the contrary, the 1970s was the decade that major media outlets proclaimed global cooling was the problem contributing to a ‘coming ice age,’ which would bring with it nothing but horrendous consequences. (Sounds like familiar fear, huh?)

Global warming? Not so fast, skeptics say at meeting

U.S. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher was in a froth, and his audience loved it.

The California Republican was talking about global warming and could barely contain his disgust.

"Al Gore has been wrong all along!" Rohrabacher yelled into the microphone. "This is outrageous! All of this is wrong! The people who have stifled this debate have an agenda that is just frightening!"

Welcome to the third annual International Conference on Climate Change, a daylong session of speeches and scientific presentations that took place Tuesday just blocks from the U.S. Capitol. Almost no media covered the event.

But scientist after scientist at the conference pointed out flaws and shortcomings in the calculations of the IPCC, especially its reliance on computer models to make forecasts.

One researcher, Roy Spencer, a professor at the University of Alabama-Huntsville, noted that the IPCC did not adequately calculate how clouds play a major role in ground temperatures.

Skepticism over climate science is hardly new. Indeed, skepticism has always been a part of scientific discourse and has been around global warming since the 1970s, when the theory first gained credence.

BK Franchise: GW is Baloney

Why have a row over truth? Of course AGW is baloney. Any person with half a brain can figure out that this global warming business is a giant scam. (Or should I just say it IS a business?) And like most businesses, fast food joints are on the chopping block of global warming alarmists.

'Global warming is baloney' signs put the heat on Burger King

A row between the fast food giant Burger King and one of its major franchise owners has erupted over roadside signs proclaiming "global warming is baloney".

North Dakota's June Snowfall

More empirical evidence for you to stuff in your pipe and smoke. Global warming is a non-event. The alarmists will site everything in the world that points, as they see it, to global warming—just check out the warmlist for hundreds of examples. But when contrary empirical evidence (of which there is a lot) points away from global warming as reality, the advocate media (like NBC) will never report on it.

It’s up to you thinking people out there to wake up from the trance under which they’ve placed you.

Snow falls in western ND, in June

Bismarck, N.D. (AP) Snow has fallen in Dickinson in June, the first time in nearly 60 years the city has seen snow past May.

Solar Cycle Down--Temps Lower

Is it the sun, stupid? I contend it is. We’ve seen gradual cooling over the past 11 years (given the 1998 baseline called the “highest ever” by warming proponents), and the last few years has witnessed a fairly sharp declination in temperature. Mirroring the falling global mean temperature on Earth is an identical failing temperature on other solar system bodies and a record decrease in sunspots.

And yet, no scientists or media types seem willing to put 2 and 2 together. That’s because 2 and 2 make 5 when you’re a political opportunist.

New Solar Cycle Prediction

May 29, 2009: An international panel of experts led by NOAA and sponsored by NASA has released a new prediction for the next solar cycle. Solar Cycle 24 will peak, they say, in May 2013 with a below-average number of sunspots.

"If our prediction is correct, Solar Cycle 24 will have a peak sunspot number of 90, the lowest of any cycle since 1928 when Solar Cycle 16 peaked at 78," says panel chairman Doug Biesecker of the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center.

June 2009: Freeze Warning for NY

More empirical evidence that the warmaholics—including those in the media--will ignore. They’ll, of course, tout anything empirical that they say supports their contention of manmade warming—hurricanes, melting ice, tornados, etc.

Yep, you read it right, folks. 1 June—summertime—and there’s A FREAKIN’ FREEZE WARNING!

May to go out under a freeze watch

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch for many parts of New York from Sunday through Monday morning, including Oneida County.

Widespread frost and freeze conditions are possible tonight and into early Monday morning.

The region’s low temperature for today is expected to be about 36 degrees, which also is the record low temperature for May 31, according to WKTV meteorologists and weather archives.

The record was set in 1966.

A low of 50 degrees is expected for Monday.
